It's my pleasure to announce our speaker for this month is Paul Jones. Paul will be presenting his "Organizing Your PHP Projects" talk.

"Organizing Your PHP Projects"

"By using a single organizational principle, developers can easily make their project structure more predictable, extensible, and modular. The talk will discuss this one lesson, how it can be discovered from researching publicly available PHP projects, how to apply it, and how it is used (or not used) in well-known applications and frameworks."

Paul's talk promises to be full of great information, so you might want to bring something to take notes with.

Project Management as seen through the eyes of a PHP programmer,.... Never thought, in a million years, I would be sitting in a room full of people, watching a video projector show a progressive theory of plotting out PHP, while the guest speaker does some type of ritual hand dance,... all the while capturing my attention and keeping focused on Globals... wait! I am not suppose to focus on Globals,... yes! Wait! I mean no,... No Globals. What is a Global? And why was he talking about Apache Helicopters? .... (-- lol --) Had a great time.... and learned that PHP programmers do know what they are doing,... and talking about.
