This week promises to be another excellent meetup. We'll have two speakers presenting for 20-30 minutes each, a format we used with great success at our very first meetup. We're also moving downtown for the month of September. archer>malmo, a Memphis based full-service ad agency, has been kind enough to host and feed us in their building at 65 Union Avenue in the heart of downtown Memphis.

Why do businesses and developers write their own frameworks when so many public ones already exist? Is it true that all frameworks suck, but some suck less than others? Test Driven Development is a very simple concept, but putting it into practice can be very challenging. What are the benefits? What are the drawbacks? How in the world does TDD work?
