Great group of guys! Very knowlagable. Actually had something came up and miss the meeting but I will vouche for these folks. -
Since we were such a diverse group, it would be nice to have some deep discussions of some comparative technologies, pointing out some of the nuances of each, advantages and disadvantages. We could do more of that in the future. -
Enjoyed it - impressed by the knowledge that was evident. -

Great meetup! I learned quite a bit from Elizabeth and was nice to see someone so versed in her trade present with such humor. Lot's of skilled programmer's in the room so looking forward to furthering my education in php and coding skills. Kudos to Jeremy for a well-organized meetup and presenter. Thanks -

Holy wow, this meetup was good. Elizabeth knocked it out of the park with her presentation, the discussion was good, the attendance might have been the best ever, and the meeting after the meeting at the Saucer was awesome. -

Hate that I missed it. I made the 80 mile round trip up there but Autozone would not allow use of it's parking. I just could not leave my brand new motorcycle on the streets of Memphis so I had to bail and head back to Fayette county. Next time I'll know to drive my truck. Thanks any way for setting up things like this. -

I thoroughly enjoyed listening to the talk about TDD in PHP. There's lots of information on TDD in other languages online; it was good to have a discussion about TDD focusing on PHP, and Jeremy did a great job of it.

This meeting was a small step toward open source development in Memphis, but it was a giant leap forward for Memphis technology groups. Contributing to Github projects is a new idea for Memphis. Some audience members needed more system preparation (installing a LAMP stack, installing Git, joining Github, or even, installing a more-cooperative OS) to prepare for this. Prepping a workstation can take a couple of hours by itself. I was without a workstation. The Chess Center has workstations with 1080p monitors for meeting use; next time we should put stations in the room to make activities easier to follow. The central projector is great, but it is not quite enough. All that said, some users got through the steps of cloning the project and retrieving and editing files. I think this was the primary objective of the presentation, as what someone does from there on a project is up to the individual contributor. This as a successful experiment overall. -
It got me involved more, and that's exactly what I need. I would have liked to have delved into some of the code at the meeting.

Great opportunity to meet some bright individuals. I did not bring my laptop which was a mistake. -
Really enjoyed talking with the attendees, but I was a little disappointed that we didn't see more of the frapi project. I think it would've been cool to get a bit more of an overview of the project in the slides, and see some examples showing how it can be used... and *then* jump into setting it up and playing with it. Seems like a number of attendees weren't quite prepared, or ready jump into the workshop. I didn't fork the project beforehand either, so shame on me! ;) Overall good experience!

I really appreciated the exposure to new tools. I heard from some members that they would like more nitty gritty details next time. It would also be good to see more ways in which each member can implement the new things we are all learning...

I really enjoyed this meetup! it was in a very nice and related place (Emerge / TN St and GE Patterson / Calhoun). There were a lot of very nice and well informed people there asking very pertinent questions. Everyone was friendly and it was enjoyable! :)
